It is important to note the difference between having an idea and an opportunity. The former relates to a proposition that has come about factors one is exposed to such as current market trends or gaps. But it is equally important to back the idea through credible research in the market to assess its viability which is then termed as an opportunity – hence a credible proposition to start a business. A lot of times entrepreneurs feel money is a limiting factor, but in practical terms one has to know whether the idea is commercially viable or not.
